Helping a Private Foundation Realize its Dream

For several years, the Jesse White (IL Secretary of State) Foundation struggled to move forward with the development of a new Community Center and gymnastic training facility. Rotholz was hired by the Jesse White Foundation to help lead the effort.  Rotholz negotiated on behalf of the Foundation with the Chicago Park District and the City of Chicago winning approval for full development rights for the Jesse White Foundation.  This was the first time a private foundation served as developer on behalf of the Chicago Park District.  Rotholz led extensive peer review studies for major building systems implementing design changes and new contracting methods that ultimately saved the Foundation $2.3M from the original projected development costs.
